When Sophie Gareau and Christophe Majkowski found out that their three-year-old son Auguste was born deaf, they tried every treatment available in Canada, with no success. After learning of the auditory brain stem implant, a recent option in the United States, Sophie and Christophe brought Auguste to Los Angeles with the hope of giving their son the chance to hear.
